Israel closes Abu Salem crossing for Jewish holidays


altGaza Strip, (Pal Telegraph)-Israeli occupation authorities closed Thusday Karem Abu Salem crossing for the second day in a row because of the Jewish holidays.

 Raed Fatouh, Gaza crossing official, said that Israeli authorities announced on Tuesday the closure of Karem Abu Salem crossing for two days in a row.

He pointed out that the crossing will be reopened next Sunday to allow the entry of aids and goods into Gaza Strip.

Karem Abu Salem crossing is currently the only point for Gazans to transfer their goods, especially after Israeli decision to close permanently Al-Montar crossing which was dedicated for the import of fuel and feed.
