
Gaza, March 8, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - The Israeli authorities opened today Karem Abu Salem and Al-Montar crossings to allow the entry of limited quantities of fuel and food aid into Gaza.
Raed Fatouh, Palestinian crossings official, told SAFA news agency that: "The occupation authorities will pump limited quantities of cooking gas and fuel needed to run the power station in Gaza which is suffering from a crisis due to the shortage of fuel."
He added that it will allow the entry of 114 vans loaded with wheat and 73-83 van aid and goods for the agricultural and industrial sectors.
