Despite Israeli attacks, ceasefire talks continue
Gaza, (Palestine Telegraph) – A senior figure from the leadership of, Islamic Jihad movement, Khaled Al-Batesh, stated that ceasefire talks didn’t fail yet and still going on in Cairo. He pointed out that meetings with Egyptian officials continue despite the withdrawal of Israeli delegations. Al-Batesh who is a member of the Palestinian delegation in Cairo, explained that the Egyptian’s side asked the Palestinian delegation to extend the ceasefire for the next 72 hours. He confirmed that the Palestinian resistance insists on her conditions and that Israeli side is refusing to accept basic Palestinian human rights demand by procrastination and manipulation the talks. The Israeli artillery continued this morning bombing many parts of Gaza strip since ending the ceasefire this morning. Different houses were also attacked in eastern, northern and southern parts of Gaza. More than 15 people were wounded and were admitted to Alshifaa hospital including 3 children and 4 women. Meanwhile, Palestinian fighters launched short-range rockets towards Israel as the second refused to end the siege on Gaza and end the plight of civilians. More than 1900 Palestinians, mostly civilians were killed in the War which has been going on for more than 32 days. More than 10000 were also wounded.
